 6 months later……

Something doesn’t seem right.  He doesn’t hold my hand or kiss me hello or goodbye anymore.  He is never without his cell phone and he is very protective of it.  Maybe he has just settled into the relationship.  His job is stressful and he needs to be available 24/7 for work.  He sure is stressed out.  He never wants to have sex anymore.

The beginning of the end…..

One day while at the supermarket you run into an old friend of his who was feeling rather talkative that day.  The subject of his birthday came up.  “Yeah, I can’t believe that John’s turning 50.  I still remember our college days together like it was yesterday”.  There must be some mistake you think.  He told me he was 43.  Feeling like you were punched in the stomach, you return home and begin surfing the net, researching criminal background companies.  You enlist with “Net Detective” and begin your check.

Suddenly you begin to feel the walls of love surrounding you crumble, as you begin to realize that it was all an illusion.  Your new love has a wife, child and another house in the next town over.  He is a “double-lifer”…………

Alright folks, the cruise is over!  In just minutes, you have fallen off the ship and are now swimming in the freezing cold ocean with the sharks.  Your “love” has lied to you and betrayed you in the worst way.  To make matters worse, you later discover that your “love” never took himself off the dating site that you met him on.  He was seeing other women all along!  Who knows what else is left to be found out! Your beautiful “love” has in minutes been reduced to cheap and taudry.  He has made a mockery of you. The fantasy is over!  It was all an illusion………meet Mr Hyde!

Suddenly nothing, including myself looks or feels the same anymore…..

                           A Message For The Ladies

Ladies, before you board the “Love Boat” with someone you have met on-line, at the grocery store or church for that matter, check out the above sites.  They could save you, your family and friends much heartache and grief. 

 If you have had a bad experience, use the sites to inform other women, your “sisters,” about the danger that the man involved poses to their emotional health and well-being.  Women need to protect themselves and each other. 

The type of men that lead “double lives”, lie and cheat are not out for your best interest.  Many of them are predators and users that seek out others for their own personal gain, leaving you in the dust once they have gotten what they came to you for. 

Many of these men are sex addicts, narcissists and sociopaths that have no capacity to understand the pain they inflict on you and others by their behavior.  These type of men thrive in the social networking and online dating environments. 

 They are very smooth, often charming, witty, intelligent and very good at reading people.  They will tell you what you want to hear and very quickly will have you believing that you have found the love of your life. 

As you are reveling in your new-found love, he already has his exit plan which he will use to ride off into the sunset, taking your soul with him as he heads towards his next victim. 

Ladies, the sites above are not about revenge.  They are about protecting you, other women and all the other people that these men wrack up as casualties from their self serving and wreckless  behavior.  You are not only protecting other women but also their children.  People forget that many of the  women that these men date have small children that stand to suffer because their mother is suffering. 

There are no laws on the books that protect people from moral crimes, yet these crimes are much more emotionally damaging than many of the crimes committed that do have legal statutes.  I would much rather have my home burgarlized than have my heart and soul ripped out of my chest by a con man who created an illusion of a person that never existed. 

These type of men are finally being held accountable for their morally criminal behavior.  Ladies, please check out the sites above and use them.  They are there for a reason.  Remember, it is not about revenge!  It is about self protection!

                                       Message For The Men

This blog was written by a woman and based on the experiences of that woman.  I realize that most of you are good people and that the ones mentioned above can make it difficult for you when relating to women. 

 I also realize that there are women for which all of what I identified above applies.  There are plenty of men that have been victimized by such women. 

Please know how appreciated you are.  It is the good men out there, that are quite hard to come by that give us ladies hope for the possibility of a loving, stable relationship. 

You are every bit as welcome on this site as the ladies and offer to us a perspective that would be interesting  and helpful to us in terms of gaining a better understanding of how men think and feel.
